Why I Built Pulse Report
Hi, I’m Trey - the creator of Pulse Report. Over the years, I’ve tried everything to track my goals: to do list apps, habit trackers, journals, voice memos, even color coded spreadsheets. Each one felt promising for about a week. But my brain would drift, the tools would get outdated, and I struggled to track/reflect on the progress towards my goals.
What finally clicked for me wasn’t another productivity hack. It was momentum. Just getting started, saying something out loud, seeing a little progress, made the next step easier. I realized most tools obsess over managing tasks, when what we actually need is a system that helps us see the small wins on our goals that build up over time.
So I sketched out a new kind of flow:
- Say what’s on your mind, whether it’s a win, a blocker, or a thought.
- Let AI connect it to your bigger picture and push you for more information
- Get a simple, clear report showing your momentum and how you’re progressing
That sketch became Pulse Report.
Pulse lets you talk to an AI agent by voice or text to share quick updates. It uses your updates and the context around your goal to create personalized progress reports that keep momentum rolling.
We believe AI shouldn’t be one-way. It should help people work together. By creating a group pulse report with your team, you can collecect everyones updates and create a shared report that keeps everyone in sync. The progress report shows who’s working on what, flags blindspots, and highlights open questions so the whole team stays in sync.
That’s what Pulse Report is all about: helping people build momentum towards their goals.
